Flood in Bukit Duri and Manggarai Recedes

Flashflood from Bogor that inundates some locations in Bukit Duri and Manggarai urban villages, Tebet Sub-district on Saturday (4/2) dawn, has started to recede. At 12.30 PM, water level only leaves 10-30 cm.

Water level is varied, from 20 cm-1 m, but not it has receded gradually

Initially, at 6 AM, water as high as 50 cm-1 m inundated three RWs in Bukit Duri, namely RW 10, 11 and 12, including SMAN 8 Bukit Duri.

Flood in Cawang Residential Reached 1.5 Meters

While at RW 10, precisely in front of Ayatul Amal Mosque and at RW 11, the water level had touched 1 m.

According to the data, at RT 09/01 Manggarai Urban Village, there are 40 households affected flood, 40 households at RT 10/01 and 15 households at RT 11/01. Nevertheless, from both urban vilalges, no one take to refuge.

"Water level is varied, from 20 cm-1 m, but not it has receded gradually," expressed Saputra (26), a citizen of Manggarai.

Tebet Sector Police Chief, Sr. Comr. Nurdin A Rahman urged citizens, espcially living on the riverbank to always be aware and find out the latest information related to the water level.

"They can find out it in Katulampa and Depok sluice gates," he closed.
